To combat isolation due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Broadway Seniors Resource Council will provide desktop computers (from Mother Earth Recycling) and free internet for seven months. These computers are for older adults residing in the BSRC catchment. (Which includes Daniel McIntyre and St. Matthews.)
The number of computers are limited.
To qualify, you must:
- Reside in the BSRC Catchment Area
- Earn less than $30,000 – single, $45,000 couple
- Not currently have a computer, tablet or laptop
- Agree to attend at least 1/2 of all BSRC online presentations
They will provide remote volunteer support to teach:
- Basic Email
- How to navigate the Internet
- How to use platforms like Zoom
- And more…
