Empower Yourself: Women’s Self-Defense Class at the University of Winnipeg (Oct 20 – Dec 8, 2025)

If anyone’s been thinking about learning some practical self-defense skills, there’s a Women’s Self-Defense Class happening at the University of Winnipeg from October 20 to December 8, 2025. It’s open to women of all experience levels, and it looks like a really supportive environment to pick up techniques that could come in handy in everyday life.

What to Expect

This class covers a bunch of self-defense strategies, from situational awareness to basic physical techniques, plus tips on avoiding tricky situations altogether. It’s all about feeling more confident, getting a little fitness in, and walking away knowing some real skills for staying safe.
