Manitoba’s Provincial Parks Open Their Doors for FREE (July 15-21)!
Beat the summer heat and explore Manitoba’s stunning provincial parks for FREE during a week-long event from July 15th to 21st, 2024!
The Manitoba government is waiving park entry fees, making Free Entry Into Manitoba Parks a reality. This is your chance to:
Go camping under the stars (camping fees still apply)
Hike through breathtaking landscapes
Enjoy swimming, fishing, and other outdoor activities
Learn about Manitoba’s rich history and culture through FREE interpretive programs

Here’s what you need to know about Free Entry Into Manitoba Parks:
Free Entry Dates: July 15th – 21st, 2024 (vehicle permits not required)
Camping Fees: Still apply, make your reservations at Manitoba Parks Reservation Service or by calling 1-888-482-2267.
National Parks: Entry fees to National Parks are not included.
Special Events: Celebrate Canada’s Parks Day on July 20th with special events at many campgrounds.
Plan Your Trip:
Visit the Manitoba Parks website for park information, camping reservations, and interpretive program schedules.
Check for park advisories before you travel.
Be “Wildlife Smart” and follow responsible camping practices.
Don’t Forget:
Bring your own firewood (firewood cannot be transported from Winnipeg due to Emerald Ash Borer restrictions). Firewood can be purchased at most campgrounds.
Clean, Drain, and Dry your watercraft to prevent the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species.
