What’s Open & Closed in Winnipeg — Sept. 30, 2025 (Orange Shirt Day)

Why it matters: September 30 honours Survivors and the children who never came home from residential schools. Many services adjust hours to support observance and community events.

City Services & Civic Offices

  • Civic offices: Closed on Tuesday.
  • Recycling, garbage & yard waste: Collected as normally scheduled for Tuesday routes.
  • Brady Road Landfill (commercial): 5:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • Brady 4R Depot: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. • Pacific & Panet 4R Depots: Closed.

  • Transit service: Sunday schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
