🎃 3rd Annual Pumpkin Drop
📅 November 4, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
📍 CF Polo Park, 1485 Portage Ave
If you are going to toss your 🎃, come toss it with us!
Why?
Of the 80,000 tonnes of pumpkins produced in Canada, 66% are sold to consumers; often used for carving and are never eaten. Without intervention, this is an immense amount of organic waste destined for the landfill!
Who?
You! Compost Winnipeg has partnered with CF Polo Park again to offer all Winnipeggers a thrilling way to compost their Jack-o’-lanterns at the 3rd Annual Pumpkin Drop!
What!?
As the name suggests, we welcome you to *literally* drop your pumpkin into our collection truck from the 2nd level of the parkade.
Where?
CF Polo Park Parkade. Seek our Compost Winnipeg Truck and Green Action Centre Canopy at the Southeast corner by Sports Chek.
How Much?
FREE!!!!!!!! But… donations are always welcome. All funds raised will go to providing compost collection service to a local non-profit social service.
