🎄 Toy Mountain 2025 – Let’s Help Fill Some Christmas Trees in Winnipeg

Every year around this time, Winnipeg shows what it’s made of — big hearts, warm mitts, and a whole lot of giving spirit. Toy Mountain 2025 is officially back, and it’s one of those holiday traditions that makes the city feel just a little brighter.

If you’ve ever wanted to help local kids have a magical Christmas morning, or if you know a family that could use a bit of support this year, here’s the scoop.

🧸 What It’s All About

Toy Mountain is one of those simple but powerful ideas — collect new, unwrapped toys and get them into the hands of kids who might not otherwise find a gift under the tree.

It’s organized by The Salvation Army, but honestly, it’s powered by regular Winnipeggers: folks dropping toys into boxes, parents helping parents, and volunteers doing the heavy lifting (sometimes literally).

There’s something really special about watching this city come together — especially when the snow starts falling and everyone’s trying to stay warm but still finds a way to give.

🎅 How You Can Join In

  • Drop off a toy. Pick out a new one, keep it unwrapped, and bring it to one of the collection spots around the city.
  • Donate online. Even a few bucks helps buy toys for kids who might otherwise go without.
  • Tell a friend. Share the info on social media or at work — someone you know might want to pitch in.
  • Volunteer. They always need hands to sort and pack gifts. It’s one of those things that’ll leave you smiling all day.

💖 Why It Matters

Let’s be real — December can be tough. Heating bills go up, groceries cost more, and sometimes there’s just not enough left for presents. Toy Mountain takes that weight off a bit.

When a kid unwraps a toy on Christmas morning and grins ear to ear, that’s because someone in this city cared enough to make it happen. And that’s what makes Winnipeg, well… Winnipeg.

So whether you’re donating, registering, or just spreading the word, take a few minutes to be part of Toy Mountain this year. One toy might not seem like much — but together, it builds a mountain of joy. 🎁
