What’s This Job About?

The Community Services Department is looking for energetic, friendly, and responsible people to help run summer programs.

As a Recreation Technician, the role involves:

✔️ Planning and leading activities for kids, youth, or young adults
✔️ Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone
✔️ Supervising participants, volunteers, and equipment
✔️ Keeping things organized and fun at assigned locations
✔️ Working as part of a team that makes summer awesome for the community

Who Can Apply?

The basic requirement is a Grade 10 education, but having Grade 12 or related experience is definitely a plus. The ideal candidate should also:

✔️ Be a great communicator (both talking and writing)
✔️ Work well with others but also be comfortable handling tasks solo
✔️ Have strong people skills (because this job is all about interacting with others!)
✔️ Experience with leading activities, supervising, or organizing events is a bonus
