The Manitoba Museum is excited to partner with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries to present our First Fridays programming! Join us on the First Friday of every month from 4 pm to 9 pm for free general admission to our three core attractions – the Museum Galleries, Planetarium, and Science Gallery. Featuring objects representing the 34 Southern Chiefs’ Organization member Nations, this exhibition is a celebration of the past, present, and future. Celebrate the history and achievements of sports in the province. It was established in 1980 and has inducted over 500 individuals and teams from various sports, such as hockey, curling, speed skating, basketball, and more. Draw at Dalnavert (Culture Days)

Join us for a morning of unstructured sketching in the museum! Take inspiration from Dalnavert’s exquisite collection of 19th century artifacts, gorgeous architecture, and rich history. We are a lululemon led community driven run crew. We meet weekly 8am on Saturday mornings at The Forks. Each week we set up 5km & 10km routes with over 20 community run leaders to support you along the way. The intention is everyone feels welcome and safe. It’s a great way to start your weekend, moving with others!

2024 Winnipeg Walk to Remember

Join the Annual Winnipeg Walk to Remember on October 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM in St. Vital Park, Winnipeg, MB. This heartfelt event honors babies lost during pregnancy, birth, or shortly after. Open to the public, it includes a Remembrance Ceremony, a walk, and refreshments. Donations are appreciated to support bereavement units and resources for newly bereaved parents.
This event is FREE, but we do ask for donation in lieu of registration. Each donation (of any amount) will receive one ticket for the door prize.
