The Prairie Comics Festival returns to Winnipeg’s Millennium Library for a weekend dedicated to independent comics, zines, and the talented creators behind them. This free event takes place on October 5th and 6th, with Saturday hours from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday hours from 1 PM to 5 PM.
What to Expect:
● Headlining Guests: Renowned graphic novelists Emily Carroll and Faith Erin Hicks will be in attendance.
● Artist Market: Over 80 exhibitors and publishers will showcase their work at the Prairie Comics Festival.
● Panels and Seminars: Two days of in-depth discussions delve into the world of comics.
● Workshops: Hands-on workshops in the ideaMILL allow attendees to learn comic and zine creation at the Prairie Comics Festival.
