The Manitoba Museum is excited to partner with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries to present First Fridays programming. Join us on the first Friday of every month from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm for free general admission to the Museum Galleries, Planetarium, and Science Gallery.
No ticket is required for First Friday programming unless otherwise specified.

The Manitoba Museum is excited to partner with Black History Manitoba to celebrate Black History. This FREE evening will include Black-owned businesses, Black-led organizations, and other supporters of Black History Manitoba.
Enjoy entertainment, a marketplace, and pop-up booths. Food will be available for purchase, including baked goods and South Sudanese and Caribbean cuisine.
The Fabric of Our Being

The Fabric of Our Being is a powerful textile art installation conceptualized by Jamaican-Canadian poet, author, and arts educator Nadine Williams. This collaborative masterpiece blends art and poetry to honour Black history while raising awareness about the International Decade for People of African Descent.

This temporary exhibit features the story of Robert Jamerson, who served during the First World War in the No. 2 Construction Battalion, and his son Frank, who served during the Second World War in the 3rd Battalion Edmonton Fusiliers.
