Event Description

Celebrate Canada Day weekend in Lac du Bonnet with three days of family-friendly activities, community traditions, live entertainment, and midway fun from July 3 to 5. Wonder Shows will be open daily from 12:00 PM until close, featuring carnival rides and games throughout the weekend.
Visitors can also enjoy pancake breakfasts at the Pioneer Club on both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, making it a great way to start each day of festivities.
Saturday features a full lineup of activities, including the Family Fun Zone from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with free face painting, barrel train rides, and more at the Community Centre grounds. Helicopter rides will also be available, weather permitting.
A pickerel fry will be served at the Community Centre from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The day wraps up with one of the weekend's biggest highlights—a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night.
Sunday's celebration continues with the Winnipeg River Car Club Show n' Shine along Second Street and the Community Centre parking lot, featuring a wide variety of classic and custom vehicles.
The annual parade begins at 12:30 PM with this year's theme, “Dancin' Through the Decades,” celebrating music, fashion, and culture from years past while bringing the community together for a memorable Canada Day weekend.
