Experience Nuit Blanche Winnipeg Like Never Before

Ready for an unforgettable night of art, culture, and adventure? Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is just around the corner, and this year, it’s bigger and better than ever! With four vibrant zones to explore—The Exchange District, Downtown, St. Boniface, and The Forks—there’s no better way to experience it all than by hopping on the free trolley and boat services. Here’s why you should make the most of these convenient and fun transportation options.

New Feature: Illuminated Boats

4 Illuminated boats will run continuously from 6 PM to Midnight, docking near art installations and transporting culture enthusiasts to different zones of the celebration. What a great way to take in the scenic waterways and art before the snow flies. Let’s do this!

Important info about this new feature:

  • Boats can take 12 people at a time. There will be multiple boats operating at all times!
  • There will be approximately 10-15 mins between boats at each stop.
  • All ages welcome. Lifejackets are provided. Children under 12 require a lifejacket.
  • Please note that accessibility may be limited due to the design of the paths and docks, which feature a mix of steps and ramps. Additionally, there are gaps between the dock and both the land and the boat. This may pose challenges for individuals with low mobility.
  • If there is inclement weather expected such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, this feature will be canceled by daytime on September 28th. It will still operate in light weather.

Why Use the Trolley and Boat?

  1. Convenience: Navigating through the bustling streets of Winnipeg during Nuit Blanche can be a challenge. The free trolley and boat services make it easy to move between the different zones without the hassle of parking or traffic.
  2. Unique Experience: How often do you get to travel by boat in the heart of Winnipeg? The boat rides offered by Winnipeg Waterways add a unique and scenic element to your Nuit Blanche adventure.
  3. Eco-Friendly: By using the trolley and boat, you’re reducing your carbon footprint. It’s a great way to enjoy the night while being kind to the environment.
  4. Accessibility: The trolley and boat services are designed to be accessible for everyone, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the festivities without any barriers.
