About Computers for Schools MB:
To support Education, Skills Development, and Environmental Responsibility through Affordable Technology.
We employ recent graduates from various IT programs to test, clean and refurbish equipment as part of our work experience program.
Please see Intern Program and Co-op Program for more information.
Computers for Schools MB consistently provides an average of 5000 refurbished computers per year to eligible clients who may not otherwise have access to affordable technology. On average, we diverted more than 500,000 lbs of e-waste from our landfills a year.
A Provincial Advisory Board establishes the criteria for eligibility on an annual basis, and generally oversees program operations.
Since 1994, Computers for Schools Manitoba has provided over 95,000 devices to eligible clients.
