The Red River Toy Library works like other libraries except with toys. You can borrow 3 toys at a time for a 3-week period and then you can come back 3 weeks later and exchange them for something new. The library has a partnership with the Fort Gary United Church and is located in the basement at 800 Point Road just off Pembina.
The church provided the space rent free which keeps the service cost-free for the public. People from all over can take part, it is not just for Fort Gary residents. It is for people all over the city. If people take the bus the library can also offer bus tickets. The library is open on Saturdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.

The service can only be provided by appointment only in February because of the public health situation in 20 minute segments but generally they hope to have it open where community members and families interact with each other, meet each other and play with each other.
The library can be contacted by Facebook, Instagram or by email. Donations are being accepted for new or gently used toys and also people can volunteer their time for one Saturday morning a month for three hours.
