While Kari Casting hasn’t confirmed the film's title, the buzz around town suggests it might be connected to two major productions currently happening in Manitoba. It could either be Nobody 2, the highly anticipated sequel starring Bob Odenkirk and Sharon Stone, or Altar, a chilling project from A24, the studio behind critically acclaimed films like Hereditary, Midsommar, and The Witch.

What Are They Looking For?

The casting call is specifically seeking men and women aged 17 to their 40s to embody the retro vibe of a 1970s waterpark or pool scene. Here's a breakdown of the requirements:

SHOOT DATE: Tuesday, September 10th, 2024

  • Could start as early as 7am. Must be available for approximately 10-12 hours.

LOCATION: Outside of Winnipeg (Approximately 1 hour)

  • Must have own transportation
  • Exact location will be confirmed upon booking

RATE OF PAY: $15.30/hr, Overtime rate: $22.95/hr

  • Meals, snacks, and refreshments are provided

MUST FIT REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

  • No visible tattoos
  • Must be okay to be in the water during the scenes (basic swimming)
  • Must be okay with wearing bathing suits (they will provide this)

MUST FIT BATHING SUIT SIZES below:

  • Women – X-small (32-34 bust)
  • Women small-medium (36-38 bust)
    • Women’s bathing suits are 2 pieces
  • Men shorts – X-small (28-30 inch waist)
  • Men shorts – small (32 inch waist)
  • Men shorts – medium (34 inch waist)
    • 1970s Men’s shorts are SHORT – must be okay wearing this!
