Aurora Farm is a solar-powered farm situated on a historic Métis river lot in south Winnipeg. The farm is home to a variety of heritage animals, including chickens, goats, alpacas, and horses. With a focus on sustainability, Aurora Farm grows organic produce and native prairie plants while also raising dairy goats for goat milk soap and alpacas for fleece. The farm offers a wealth of activities aimed at inspiring Manitobans to become more ecologically conscious. Visitors can explore the farm and meet the friendly animals during the guided tours or wander through the designated areas before or after the tour.

The General Store is wheelchair accessible, but visitors should be aware that the gravel parking lot and pathways may be challenging to navigate, especially if there has been significant rainfall.

On both days, guided tours of the barn and farm will run every 45 minutes, starting at 11:00am, with the last tour at 3:30pm. Each tour lasts approximately 25 minutes and accommodates a maximum of 30 guests. No registration is required!

Please note: Outdoor events will proceed as planned in light rain, but will be cancelled in the case of heavy downpours or thunderstorms. Cancellations will not be posted.
