Experience Winnipeg after dark during Nuit Blanche Winnipeg 2026, happening Saturday, September 26, 2026. This free annual celebration transforms neighbourhoods across the city into a massive showcase of contemporary art, light installations, live performances and interactive experiences.

Thousands of people take to the streets for one unforgettable night, exploring galleries, museums, outdoor spaces and unexpected locations while discovering work created by local artists, arts organizations and independent curators.

Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is a free evening celebration of contemporary art presented as part of Culture Days Manitoba. The main programming takes place from approximately 6 PM to midnight, although individual participating events may begin earlier or continue later.

For 2026, Nuit Blanche activities are spread across four main areas:

• Exchange District
• Downtown Winnipeg
• The Forks
• St. Boniface

Throughout the evening, visitors can explore large-scale art installations, projections, illuminated displays, live music, performances, exhibitions, interactive art and hands-on activities.

Streets, parks, galleries, museums, businesses and other spaces become part of the celebration, giving visitors a chance to experience Winnipeg's arts and cultural scene in an entirely different way.

Getting between Nuit Blanche locations is easier with free Winnipeg Transit shuttle service connecting the four main zones. Visitors can also walk, bike or roll between nearby installations and venues, particularly throughout Downtown and the Exchange District.
