Join Premier Wab Kinew and members of the legislative assembly to celebrate the holidays at the Legislative Building Holiday Open House!

We hope you'll bring your family and friends to be a part of our free celebration – all are welcome. We invite you to bring non-perishable food items in support of Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg.
A livestream of the Holiday Open House will be available on this page during event programming, noon to 3 p.m. on December 6.
The Manitoba government is inviting all Manitobans to visit the Legislative Building on Saturday, Dec. 6 for the 2025 Holiday Open House, Premier Wab Kinew announced today.
“I’m pleased to invite all Manitobans to our 2025 Holiday Open House, the Legislative Building is the people’s building and this event is one of my favourite opportunities to welcome everyone inside,” said Kinew. “I look forward to celebrating the holiday season together with music, food and plenty of festive cheer.”
The open house will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s free of charge and open to all.
Attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food items in support of the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg, added Kinew.
The event will also be livestreamed at https://news.gov.mb.ca for those wishing to celebrate virtually.

The Winnipeg Police Museum offers free admission and features artifacts dating back to the late 1800s, vintage vehicles and motorcycles, and stories highlighting the history and service of the Winnipeg Police Service, located at 245 Smith Street and open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
WAG Wednesday Nights offers free admission every Wednesday evening from 5:00–9:00 PM at WAG-Qaumajuq, starting January 2026, with live music, interactive activities, and rotating cultural programming in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
