“Skate with Santa” is an exciting event happening on Sunday, December 8, 2024, hosted by the Garden City Community Centre and City Councillor Devi Sharma. Taking place at Seven Oaks Arena, 745 Kingsbury Ave, this family-friendly holiday celebration is packed with activities that bring the spirit of the season to life.
● Face Painting: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
● Public Skating: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Helmets are required for those under 18)
● Santa’s Grand Arrival: 12:30 PM
● Holiday Craft Making: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
(Craft activities are supported by Maples Youth Activity Centre and Kildonan Youth Activity Centre)

● Be a Santa for a Senior: Donations are being collected for A&O Support Services for Seniors. Items like health and hygiene products, scarves, gloves, and activity books are needed. Donations earn a voucher for free hot chocolate.
● Helmets are mandatory for those under 18 and are recommended for all skaters.
● Skate assists are available for those who need extra support.
● There are no skate rentals available, and no shoes or boots are permitted on the ice.
