Gimli Blues Festival Returns for a Foot-Stomping Second Year
The heart of Manitoba is gearing up for a landmark event – the 2nd Annual Gimli Blues Festival presented by Crown Royal. Taking place on June 7th and 8th, 2024, at the Gimli Park Pavilion, the festival promises a weekend filled with soul-stirring blues performances, community spirit, and free admission!
Blues fans can expect an electrifying lineup featuring some of Manitoba’s finest artists. The dance floor is guaranteed to be lively throughout the night, fueled further by a vibrant beer garden featuring Crown Royal alongside local craft selections from Interlake Brewing Company.

Friday, June 7th
● 4:00-5:00 PM: Kickstart the weekend with the youthful energy of the Gimli High School Jazz Band.
● 5:30-6:30 PM: Prepare to be captivated by Robert-Andreas with Glowing Hearts, blending passion with powerful blues rhythms.
● 7:00-8:00 PM: Get ready for an electrifying set of blues fusion by Blue Noise.
● 8:30-10:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the signature blues sound of The South Thunderbird Band under the Manitoba stars.
● 10:30 PM-Midnight: End the night on a high note with Romi Mayes, whose gritty vocals and guitar prowess will leave a lasting impression.

● 1:30-2:30 PM: Immerse yourself in the soulful voice and blues guitar mastery of Chris Ghidoni.

● 5:00-6:30 PM: DB & the Deadbeats promise a high-energy set packed with blues-rock anthems.
● 7:00-8:30 PM: Get ready for some hard-hitting blues numbers by The Perpetrators.
● 9:00-10:30 PM: Celebrate the talent of female blues musicians with the Women in Blues showcase.
● 11:00 PM-12:30 AM: Wrap up the festival with the deep, soulful blues of Big Dave McLean.
