Blue Bombers Job Fair 2026: Grab a Summer Gig at the Stadium

Alright, Winnipeg—the snow is finally thinking about leaving, which means football season is actually on the horizon. If you’ve ever been at a home game, felt that Blue Bomber energy, and thought, “I could definitely do this,” here’s your shot.

The 2026 Job Fair is officially a go, and it’s basically the best way to snag a fun side hustle or a first job before the season kicks off.

The Game Plan

When: Saturday, April 11, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Get there early—the line usually moves, but it’s popular!)

Where: Princess Auto Stadium (aka the place we still accidentally call IG Field sometimes).

How to get in: Walk through the Bomber Store at Gate 1.

What’s Up for Grabs?

They’re looking for a massive crew. Most of these are part-time seasonal spots, which is perfect if you’re a student or just looking for some extra fun money on the weekends.

The Paid Stuff:

  • Food & Drinks: Everything from kitchen cooks and cashiers to loge servers and “18+ runners” (the folks making sure the beer gets where it needs to go!).
  • The Front Lines: Parking attendants, security, and general labour. If you like being in the thick of the crowd, this is it.
  • The Fan Experience: Working the retail kiosks or guest services.

Why Bother?

Honestly, working at the stadium is a total trip. It’s loud, it’s fast, and when the crowd goes wild after a touchdown, you’re right there in it. Plus, it’s a great way to meet other people in the city. If you’re not the “sit behind a desk” type, you’ll probably have a blast.

Don't Leave Home Without These:

Winnipeg weather is unpredictable, but don't let your prep be. Bring:

  • A couple copies of your Resume: Yes, paper!
  • Photo ID: Don't forget it in your other jacket.
  • Work Permit: If you’re an international student or newcomer, have this ready.
  • Smart Choices: If you want to work anywhere near the drinks, having this certificate already is a huge “hire me” signal.

Pro-Tip

They often do interviews right on the spot. You don’t need to show up in a tuxedo, but maybe leave the sweatpants at home. “Neat and ready to work” is the vibe.

Winnipeg summers are short, so you might as well spend yours where the action is. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just want a job where you can actually see the sun occasionally, swing by the stadium on the 11th.

Go Blue!
