Immerse yourself in Winnipeg’s firefighting heritage with Free Tours of the Winnipeg Firefighters Museum. This exciting event, held on May 25th and 26th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, offers a unique opportunity to explore the historic halls of Station #3, later known as Station #2.

Located at 56 Maple Street (Fire Fighters Way), this once-active fire station served as a crucial pillar of protection for Winnipeg until 1990. Since 1999, the Winnipeg Firefighters Historical Society has meticulously transformed this site into the Winnipeg Firefighters Museum, a beacon dedicated to preserving and showcasing the courageous efforts of Winnipeg’s firefighters.

Step back in time and explore the captivating history of Winnipeg’s fire department. Built in 1904, the museum transcends the boundaries of a typical building, transforming into a captivating chronicle of bravery and unwavering dedication.
