Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration in Winnipeg – Mooncakes, Performances & More

Celebrate the beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival at a special community event co-hosted by the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre (WCCCC) and the Manitoba Chinese Family Center (MCFC). Taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the WCCCC Gym (180 King Street), this festive afternoon brings together friends and families to enjoy the traditions of one of the most cherished Chinese holidays.

Guests can look forward to a variety of activities including live performances, hands-on mooncake making, free mooncake distribution, and engaging games. To make the day even more special, a VR film screening will follow the main program, offering a modern cultural experience alongside traditional festivities.

This free admission event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, experience Chinese culture, and share the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival under the glow of the full moon.
