Free Admission Days at the Red River Ex 2026

Every summer, the Red River Ex brings rides, midway games, live entertainment, fireworks, and classic fair food back to Winnipeg — and in 2026, there are several ways visitors can get in for free during select days and times.

If you’re looking to save money while still enjoying one of Manitoba’s biggest summer events, these free admission days are worth planning around. From Opening Day specials to Family Day and Kids Day, visitors can take advantage of free gate admission opportunities throughout the fair.

During the free admission periods on June 12, June 14, and June 21, donation buckets will be available at the entry gates to support the Red River Exhibition Foundation scholarship fund. Every dollar donated helps support Manitoban post-secondary students while allowing visitors to enjoy hours of free entertainment, attractions, and activities across the grounds.
