Take part in a special event dedicated to Truth & Reconciliation with free admission to Manitoba Children's Museum as guests reflect on the legacy of residential schools in Canada.
Programming and activities will run from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with FREE general admission available throughout the day.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear an orange shirt, symbolizing awareness of the impacts of residential schools and remembrance that every child matters.

Event Schedule
● Alice RL from Forum Art Centre will facilitate the creation of a collaborative nature mural titled Growing Together (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
● Guest speakers will include:
● Métis educator Teresa Byrne will host a Michif language workshop and Métis paper vest craft activity (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
● Explore the Manitoba Museum’s Inuit artifact display table (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
● Create a take-home decorative heart for a Heart Garden, each heart representing the memory of a child lost to the residential school system (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
