FREE and safe public viewing of the partial solar eclipse visible from Manitoba. Weโll be in the Kitchen Garden, adjacent to The Leaf in Assiniboine Park.
If you are a Winnipeg Centre member and would like to volunteer to bring your telescope and a safe solar filter for public viewing, contact Scott at space@manitobamuseum.ca. Drinks and snacks will be provided to volunteers. If you donโt have your own telescope, volunteer anyway โ there will be extra telescopes, as well as traffic control and distribution of eclipse glasses to take care of as well.
