The Nestaweya River Trail is supported by an incredible community effort. Nearly 1,000 metres of the trail have been adopted by individuals, helping to cover maintenance costs. This initiative is part of The Forks Foundation's new “Trail Together” campaign, encouraging people to get involved and help maintain this amazing winter attraction.

Huge thanks go out to the hardworking crews, perfect winter conditions, and the amazing people who’ve supported the trail. Now that it spans 6km, the trail goes from Hugo Docks on the Assiniboine River all the way to Churchill Drive on the Red River.

if you're heading out, keep an eye out for six new Warming Huts. They’ve just been unveiled and will be moved down to the trail once the artists are finished with them.
