Women Transitioning to Careers in Aerospace – INFORMATION SESSION ON FEBRUARY 16

Start Date of February 28th, 2022

Are you a woman who is looking for a new career?

If so, we have a terrific opportunity for you.

We are offering an 18-week training program to help women get the skills they need to get entry level jobs in the aerospace industry.

Eligibility:

– Women or those who identify as women

– Over 18

– No criminal record

– Grade 12 or equivalent

– Canadian citizen or landed immigrant

– Proof of full vaccination & masking will be required

This accelerated program will start on February 28th, 2022.

The training will take place in the evenings and weekends for the first 10 weeks and then during daytime hours for the last 8 weeks.

The first 60 registrants will be assigned to one of three information sessions on February 16 between 16:45 to 20:15.

The aerospace industry in Manitoba is committed to employment equity practices that achieve a workforce reflective of the community at large.

We encourage applicants to self-identify as Indigenous, Two-Spirit, Black, a Member of a Racialized Community, A Person with a Disability, and/or LGBTQQIA+.
