St. Norbert Heritage Day at St. Norbert Community Centre – February 1, 2025

The St. Norbert Heritage Day celebration is happening at the St. Norbert Community Centre on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM at 3450 Pembina Hwy, next to the St. Norbert Farmers' Market. This is a fantastic event filled with family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.

Event Highlights:

Free Pancake Breakfast: A great way to start the day with a delicious, free breakfast!

Bonfire & Bannock: People can warm up by the bonfire and enjoy traditional bannock.

Lunch Sales: Delicious food will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Mobile Ski Library: The mobile ski library offers a fun way to enjoy winter sports, perfect for families.

Entertainment & Displays: Attendees will have the chance to experience local culture through various entertainment, performances, and informative displays.

Soaring Eagle Singers – The powerful sound of traditional Indigenous singing will be heard throughout the day.

Manitoba Living History Society – Historical exhibits will give a glimpse into the past.

MB Youth Strings – Talented young musicians will perform for the crowd.

Flatland Ceili Band – The lively folk music of the Flatland Ceili Band will keep everyone entertained.

Tim Veldhuis Band – To close out the day, the Tim Veldhuis Band will provide great live music.

Special Features:

  • Live Band, Food, and Friends: From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there will be live music, food, and a chance to connect with friends and neighbors.
  • Fireworks at 6:30 PM: The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display.

The St. Norbert Heritage Day event is proudly supported by the St. Norbert Foundation, Archangel Fireworks Inc., RBC, Harlan’s, and the Behavioural Health Foundation.
