Kick off summer with a bang at the Red River Ex on Opening Day – Friday, June 13, 2025! For one hour only, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, enjoy FREE admission into the fairgrounds! Once you're in you can stay the until closing.
This is the perfect chance to explore all the sights, sounds, and smells of Manitoba’s biggest summer fair without paying a gate fee. Once you're in, you can check out live entertainment, food trucks, games, and vendors before the sun sets and the rides light up the night.

Learn to Winter at The Forks runs every weekend from January to February with free activities celebrating Winnipeg’s winter spirit. Enjoy DJs on Ice, skating lessons, storytelling, wellness classes, and more at locations throughout The Forks, weather permitting.
The Roblin Park Winter Carnival is expected to return January 19–25, 2026 with a week of family-friendly winter activities, based on programming from past years, with full details still to be officially confirmed.
The Winnipeg Police Museum offers free admission and features artifacts dating back to the late 1800s, vintage vehicles and motorcycles, and stories highlighting the history and service of the Winnipeg Police Service, located at 245 Smith Street and open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
WAG Wednesday Nights offers free admission every Wednesday evening from 5:00–9:00 PM at WAG-Qaumajuq, starting January 2026, with live music, interactive activities, and rotating cultural programming in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
