K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing, Dance & Cosplay Contest – Part of Winnipeg Lantern Festival 2025
Here’s something fun happening downtown! The K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing, Dance & Cosplay Contest is set for Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 5 PM at James and Princess Street. It’s part of the Winnipeg Lantern Festival, which runs all weekend long on September 6–7 and always brings such a cool vibe to the city.
The K-Pop contest is one of the big highlights, especially for fans of music, dance, and cosplay. There are three categories — Best in Dance, Best in Singing, and Best in Cosplay — so whether it’s energetic choreography, powerful vocals, or creative costumes, there’s going to be a lot of talent on stage.

The Lantern Festival is a two-day celebration inspired by traditional Asian harvest festivals, and it’s full of amazing lantern displays, cultural performances, food vendors, and activities for all ages. From noon to 9 PM each day, people can wander through the markets, try different foods, and check out live music and performances. Once the sun goes down, the lanterns really make the whole area glow, and it’s honestly such a beautiful experience.
