Tour Guide Susan Ainley will take visitors to the Nestaweya River Trail presented by The Winnipeg Foundation to view the art and architecture competition on ice. You’ll learn about the 2024 Warming Huts and submissions from invited guests including Jordan and Wayne Stranger, University of Manitoba Faculty of Architecture, and École St. Avila School. Visitors will also experience past Warming Hut winners as they line the banks of the Nestaweya River Trail.
Tours will meet at and leave from Passerby (tenant inside The Forks market). Please arrive on time. If you’re late, you will join the tour along the way and will likely find the group on Nestaweya River Trail presented by The Winnipeg Foundation.

Tours take place outside and are weather permitting. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. In case of extreme weather, the tour will be cancelled by 8:00AM on the day of and participants will be notified by email.
