The farm is a haven for heritage animals, including the rare Ojibwe ponies and a variety of chickens, offering a unique opportunity to connect with Canada’s living history. The vibrant activities range from organic produce cultivation to the crafting of goat milk soap and alpaca fleece products, showcasing a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the farm’s designated areas, engage with the friendly animals, and discover the native prairie plants that adorn the landscape. While the general store is wheelchair accessible, guests are advised that navigating the gravel parking lot and compacted soil farmyard may present challenges.

No registration is required to partake in this enriching journey, making it an accessible event for all who wish to delve into the essence of Manitoban heritage and sustainable living. Whether light rain or sunshine, Aurora Farm’s Doors Open event promises to be an enlightening outing for families, eco-enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the intersection of agriculture and ecology.
