Happy First Day of Winter! ✨ December 21, 2024, marks the official start of the winter season, and what better way to celebrate than with skating at The Forks? Despite the recent unpredictable weather, this weekend is shaping up to be perfect for a skate!

The on-land skating trails and rinks at The Forks are now open, offering over 1 km of skating trails and multiple rink areas for skaters to enjoy. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • ❄️ Skate on the Rinks: Glide under the canopy by The Forks Market or near the CN Stage, perfect spots for creating magical skating memories.
  • ❄️ Stay Safe: While crews are testing and flooding the Port Rink, The Nestaweya River Trail isn’t open yet. Please stick to the on-land trails and rinks until the rivers are officially declared safe for skating.
