FREE and safe public viewing of the partial solar eclipse visible from Manitoba. We'll be in the Kitchen Garden, adjacent to The Leaf in Assiniboine Park.
If you are a Winnipeg Centre member and would like to volunteer to bring your telescope and a safe solar filter for public viewing, contact Scott at [email protected]. Drinks and snacks will be provided to volunteers. If you don't have your own telescope, volunteer anyway – there will be extra telescopes, as well as traffic control and distribution of eclipse glasses to take care of as well.
