Rising Sun Powwow Club – Embrace Culture and Community in Winnipeg!

The Rising Sun Powwow Club offers a vibrant and inclusive space for anyone interested in learning and sharing Indigenous cultural practices. It’s a place to explore dancing, drumming, singing, regalia-making, and teachings while connecting with others in the community. This program is open to everyone, regardless of experience, and provides a welcoming environment to celebrate culture.

Program Details:

  • Thursdays: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Turtle Island Neighbourhood Centre (510 King Street, Winnipeg)
  • Fridays: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at 363 McGregor Street, Winnipeg

This free program is an incredible opportunity to engage with Indigenous traditions and artistry. Whether someone wants to learn new skills or deepen their cultural understanding, this club creates a space for meaningful participation.
