Free Computers for North End Residents – Indigenous-Led Program Making a Difference

If someone in the North End needs a computer for school, work, or just staying connected, this could really help. An Indigenous-led group called North End Connect is giving out free desktop computers to North End residents—no cost, no catch.

So far in 2025, they’ve already given out over 250 refurbished devices, and there are still desktops available. It’s open to anyone in the area who could use a device to get online, study, apply for jobs, or connect with others.

This isn’t just about handing out tech. North End Connect is working to make sure everyone in the community has a fair shot at digital access. They’re also offering digital literacy and working with others to break down tech barriers—especially for Indigenous families and newcomers.
