To qualify for this apprenticeship program, you must meet one of the following requirements and have and maintain a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence (intermediate or full):
High School Graduate
- Hold a high school diploma with:
- Mathematics 40S (Applied or Pre-Calculus)
- English 40
- Be willing to complete Physics 40S within a set timeframe, if required.
OR
Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License
- Have an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License issued by the Province of Manitoba (or an equivalent provincial certification).
- Hold a Grade 12 education (or equivalent).
- Be willing to complete Applied or Pre-Calculus Math 40S and Physics 40S within a set timeframe, if required.
OR
Mechanical Technology Diploma
- Possess a two-year diploma in Mechanical Technology.
