National Day for Truth & Reconciliation – September 30

This day honors the survivors of residential schools and their families, and it’s a time for all Canadians to learn and reflect on this important part of our history.

The museum will offer free admission throughout the day, featuring special programming and activities focused on the legacy of residential schools. Wearing an orange shirt is encouraged to show support and remembrance for the children affected by residential schools.
