Volunteer Roles to Suit Your Interests

The festival offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interests and skills:

Audience Ambassador: Be the welcoming face of the festival, greeting guests and assisting them throughout the event.
Box Office Attendant: Manage ticket sales and provide assistance to guests with their purchases. Training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Patio Host: Join the outdoor fun, ensuring a great time for everyone at the WCF Patio by checking IDs and keeping the atmosphere positive.
Bartender (Serving it Safe certified): Serve up beverages and keep festival-goers happy (requires a Serving it Safe certificate).
Airport Ambassador: Welcome performers and guests arriving at the airport, and help with their transportation.

About the Festival

The Winnipeg Comedy Festival was launched in 2002 and has since become a staple of the city’s cultural calendar. Produced annually by the Gas Station Arts Centre, the festival has grown to include year-round outreach programs, rural tours, workshops, and television broadcasts.
