Volunteer for the Manitoba Hydro Santa Claus Parade and help make it a magical experience for everyone!

The Manitoba Hydro Santa Claus Parade is one of the most beloved and anticipated events of the year in Winnipeg. It is a festive celebration that brings joy and excitement to thousands of people who watch the parade live or on TV. But did you know that the parade would not be possible without the help of hundreds of volunteers?

Volunteering for the parade is a great way to give back to the community, meet new people, and have fun. Whether you want to help with the float construction, parade marshalling, crowd control, or donation collection, there is a role for everyone. You can also join the parade as a walker, dancer, or mascot.

Here are some of the benefits of volunteering for the parade:

  • You will be part of a long-standing tradition that dates back to 1909.
  • You will support a good cause by helping the Christmas Cheer Board collect food and toys for families in need.
  • You will get a chance to see the parade from a different perspective and enjoy the amazing floats, costumes, and performances.
  • You will receive a volunteer package that includes a t-shirt and more!
  • You will make lasting memories and friendships with other volunteers and parade participants.
