What is the UWPG Film Festival?
Since 2002, UWPG Film Festival has showcased the work of post-secondary filmmakers from post secondary students. The festival provides the opportunity for emerging filmmakers to screen their work – a key component to the filmmaking process. The festival is free to submit to and attend.

The Festival while in person also offers a live streaming option of its programs for others around the world to view.

Share a pipe ceremony and potluck Cree teachings with Knowledge Keeper Marilyn Dykstra”. The event will be conducted in English and will take place in Bonnie & John Buhler Hall, Level 1, and proceed together to level 6. The workshop is part of a monthly Wahkowtowin and Ways of Being series led by Knowledge Keeper Marilyn Dykstra. Participants will explore the teachings of the pipe and reflect on their connections with each other, with balance, and with human rights through teachings and a traditional tea. Please bring a food item to share with the rest of the group. Dishes, cutlery, and echinacea tea will be provided.
