Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) invites you to attend the 5th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow on September 30, 2025, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, in Winnipeg, Treaty One Territory.
Free events! Everyone is welcome! SCO encourages participants to wear an orange shirt to honour the Survivors and those who did not make it home.
Healing Walk
A pipe ceremony will start the day at 10 AM at the Oodena Circle at The Forks. The Healing Walk will begin at 11 AM and travel to the RBC Convention Centre.
Pow Wow
The Orange Shirt Day Pow Wow takes place at the RBC Convention Centre on the third floor (entrance to be announced).
Grand Entry: 1 PM

Call for Dancers
SCO invites pow wow dancers of all ages and categories to join the 5th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk and Pow Wow.
Your presence as a dancer brings strength, spirit, and healing to this important day. Dance in honour of residential and day school Survivors, their families, and the children who never made it home.
Vendors
SCO has selected more than 80 incredible vendors to receive a free table at the Orange Shirt Day Pow Wow.
Most of the selected citizens and small businesses are members of SCO Nations.
