Celebrate the grand opening of Sage Movement and explore Winnipeg’s newest parkour and movement facility. Whether you are new to parkour or an experienced athlete, the event offers opportunities to learn new skills, complete challenges and connect with the movement community.

All participants must check in and have a signed waiver on file before entering the activity areas.
Free 20-minute skill workshops will begin every hour from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following each workshop, participants can explore the gym, practise their skills, complete challenges and enjoy free play.
12:00 PM – Landings and Safety Fundamentals
Learn how to absorb impact safely and move with confidence.
1:00 PM – Precisions, Plyos, Strides and Running Precisions
Develop jumping accuracy, power and momentum control.
2:00 PM – Vaults
Learn obstacle-clearing techniques, including the safety vault and speed vault.
3:00 PM – Wall Runs and Tic Tacs
Learn how to generate power from walls, gain height and redirect momentum.
Other activities include open gym access, an obstacle course running throughout the day, coach-guided skill stations and complimentary food and drinks while supplies last.
Live DJs Krometric, Unhinged and Hexrema will perform from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The final two hours, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, will be dedicated entirely to open gym activities.
Participants can earn Challenge Card points by completing beginner skill challenges, obstacle-course challenges, workshop challenges and partner challenges. Each completed challenge must be witnessed and initialled by a coach. Earning more points provides access to higher prize tiers.
The event welcomes kids, families, teens, adults, first-time parkour participants and experienced traceurs. No previous experience is required, and parents are encouraged to participate. Attendees should wear comfortable athletic clothing and be ready to move.
