Winnipeg’s First Lantern Festival will light up downtown on September 6–7, 2025, from 12 PM to 9 PM along James Street (between Princess & King) and Princess Street (between William St. & Ross Ave.). Visitors can enjoy lantern displays, cultural performances, live music, and delicious food vendors. This vibrant celebration marks the end of Lunar New Year festivities with art, tradition, and community spirit.
The K-Pop Demon Hunters Contest takes place on September 7, 2025, at 5 PM at James and Princess Street in Winnipeg. Part of the Winnipeg Lantern Festival, this free event features singing, dancing, and cosplay competitions. Visitors can enjoy vibrant performances and cultural celebrations downtown.
