[spacer height=”20px”] The best part? The festival is free to attend. If anyone wants to take part in the contest, registration is open at [email protected]. Even if you’re just there to watch, it’s going to be a great mix of lanterns, culture, and K-pop energy right in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.

The Lantern Festival is a two-day celebration inspired by traditional Asian harvest festivals, and it’s full of amazing lantern displays, cultural performances, food vendors, and activities for all ages. From noon to 9 PM each day, people can wander through the markets, try different foods, and check out live music and performances. Once the sun goes down, the lanterns really make the whole area glow, and it’s honestly such a beautiful experience.
