Winter Wanderland @ True North Square

Our signature winter event is back! Winter Wanderland is set to transform True North Square into a mesmerizing showcase of international ice carving talent during the Winterscapes International Ice Carving Competition from February 2 to 4, 2024.

Watch in awe as five teams from around the world carve ice blocks into extraordinary masterpieces right before your eyes. Join us downtown and experience the live action as artists and carvers bring their frozen visions to life.

Plus, enjoy a Wacky Doodle Dance Party, a hot chocolate and coffee giveaway, live DJ and more, throughout the weekend.

Can’t make it this weekend? No worries! The finished sculptures will be on display following the event. Take a stroll downtown and vote for your favourite sculpture in the People’s Choice awards and you’ll be entered to win a Winter Wanderland prize package! Voting starts February 4 at 4:00 P.M. CST. Come back here for the link to vote!

Gather your friends and family, head downtown, and experience winter like no other.
