Celebrate over 60 years of the Winnipeg Radio Control Club (WRCC) at their exciting public event!

Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

The Winnipeg Radio Control Club is hosting a fun-filled weekend event showcasing the world of radio-controlled (RC) model aviation. Take a trip to their flying field and witness the thrill of RC airplanes, jets, and helicopters in action.

Event Activities:

  • Witness impressive flight demonstrations: Throughout the day, WRCC members will take to the skies and perform captivating demonstrations of their RC flying skills.
  • Explore the world of RC aircraft: Get a close look at a variety of RC airplanes, jets, and helicopters on static display.
  • Try your hand at flying: Take the controls on a flight simulator and experience the thrill of piloting an RC aircraft yourself.
  • Learn more about the hobby: Guided tours of the WRCC flying field will be offered throughout the day. These tours are a great opportunity to learn more about the club and the exciting world of RC flying.

Whether you're a seasoned aviation enthusiast or simply curious about RC flying, this event is perfect for you! The WRCC welcomes visitors of all ages to their flying field for a fun and informative weekend.

Additional Information

Limited parking available on site with additional parking along the east side of Ed Spencer Drive.

Washrooms are NOT wheelchair accessible.

Guided tours run throughout the day – no registration required!

In case of high winds or rain, please check the WRCC website for updates on possible weather delays or cancellation.
