Riverview’s favorite winter celebration is back! Get ready for a week of fun, adventure, and community spirit as we embrace the magic of winter together.
The Roblin Park Winter Carnival is expected to return January 19–25, 2026 with a week of family-friendly winter activities, based on programming from past years, with full details still to be officially confirmed.
The Winnipeg Police Museum offers free admission and features artifacts dating back to the late 1800s, vintage vehicles and motorcycles, and stories highlighting the history and service of the Winnipeg Police Service, located at 245 Smith Street and open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
WAG Wednesday Nights offers free admission every Wednesday evening from 5:00–9:00 PM at WAG-Qaumajuq, starting January 2026, with live music, interactive activities, and rotating cultural programming in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
Cabin Fever: Free Films for Kids! returns this winter with free Sunday screenings at the David Barber Cinematheque. Families can enjoy beloved classics and animated favourites from January 4 to February 22.
Learn to Winter at The Forks runs every weekend from January to February with free activities celebrating Winnipeg’s winter spirit. Enjoy DJs on Ice, skating lessons, storytelling, wellness classes, and more at locations throughout The Forks, weather permitting.
