Spring Break at Winnipeg Public Library – Free Fun for Kids & Teens!
If you’re looking for fun (and free!) things to do with the kids over Spring Break, Winnipeg Public Library has an awesome lineup of events happening from March 29 to April 6, 2025. They’ve put together a mix of creative workshops, hands-on science experiments, and live storytelling—and it’s all completely free! Registration is required.
🎨 Comic Creation with GMB Chomichuk (March 31) – Learn how to bring your ideas to life on the page!
🥁 Percussion in the Library (March 31, April 1) – A fun, interactive music session.
🎻 Musical Storytelling with Manitoba Chamber Orchestra (April 1) – A mix of music and storytelling magic.
✏️ Comic Creation with Cato Cormier (April 1) – Another cool way to explore comic-making.
💻 Discovery Zone Online (April 1, 2, 3) – Hands-on virtual science and tech fun.

🔥 For Teens (Grades 7-12) – There are some fantastic workshops geared specifically for older kids, like writing sessions, comic-making, and art workshops.
